Application form (By Post): For Application form BY POST and Information Brochure, write to The Deputy Registrar (Academic II), Pondicherry University, R. V. Nagar, Kalapet, Puducherry 605 014. along with original bank challan for the prescribed fee and a self addressed envelope of size 32cm x 25cm, stamped for Rs.90/-. Request for application must be superscribed on the envelope “Request for application form for admission... (Course name)".

ONLINE: Application form can be submitted online through the University Website www.pondiuni.edu.in Send the hard copy (in A4 size) along with the original bank challan for the prescribed fee.

IN PERSON: The application forms can also be obtained from the Pondicherry University Staff Co-operative Credit Society at the University campus on payment of the cost of the application form plus Rs. 10/- as service charge.

APPLICATION FEE: For all courses Rs.100/-, Rs. 50/- for SC/ST, Exempted for differently abled candidates - subject to submission of relevant certificates.

JAMIA HAMDARD UNIVERSITY MCA Admission - 2011

Eligibility: A candidate must have:

Passed Bachelor’s degree examination in any discipline from a recognized institution with at least one paper of Mathematics at Senior Secondary (10+2) level securing at least 50% marks in aggregate. Appeared in the Entrance Test conducted by Jamia Hamdard.

Selection procedure An Entrance Test will be conducted. The Entrance Test paper will be based on questions from subjects of BCA of Jamia Hamdard.

Eligibility:

The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended upto date. The candidate seeking admission For MCA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with Mathematical at 10+2 level. As per the latest AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2011-2012, eligibility criteria for admission into MCA courses is revised stipulating 50% (45% for reserved categories) of marks at the qualifying examination. Candidates shall fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down in relevant GOs at the time of admisions. The candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for ICET-2011 Qualifying marks in ICET-2011 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.

Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate :

Appears for counseling at the notified Centers Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned (for distance mode) Satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority concerned
